Ms. LSUA

Ms. LSU Alexandria Pageant offers a quality scholarship competition for students. The winner of the Ms. LSU Alexandria Pageant earns a $1500 Chancellor’s Scholarship.  The First Runner-Up will receive a $1000 Chancellor’s Scholarship and the Second Runner-Up will receive a $500 Chancellor’s Scholarship.

Nimtanee Bouasavanh Crowned Ms. LSUA 2026

LSUA held its 65th annual Ms. LSUA pageant, crowning Nimtanee Bouasavanh as Ms. LSUA. Ten fabulous contestants were recognized for their contributions to student life at LSUA. The event honors their intelligence, talent, and their special place among the student body.

Ms. LSUA will represent the university at events through the 2026-2027 academic year. Judges for the 2026 Ms. LSUA included Ms. LSUA 2005 Brandi Rabalais-Lee, Candace Zell, and Eddie Ponce. The 2026 Ms. LSUA is awarded a $1500 Chancellor's Scholarship. The 1st runner up is awarded a $1000 Chancellor's scholarship, and the 2nd runner up is awarded a $500 Chancellor's scholarship.

Recognitions

  • Ashlee Rose Belgard, from Deville, LA was chosen for the People’s Choice award and, Julie LeAnne Reinhart from Lacamp La was selected as Ms. Photogenic, which are voted on by the crowd.

  • Ms. Congeniality award, chosen by her fellow contestants, went to Nimtanee Bouasavanh from Glenmora, LA

  • Top Ad Sales winner went to Alonna Grace Filasek from Kolin, LA

  • The Director’s Award was given to Victoria Paige Bruchhaus from Elton, LA

  • The Scholastic Achievement Award went to Geonna Lawon Tipton from Albany, GA

  • Other contestants include Melody Bordelon, Madelyn Ashford, and Bracie Dauzat.
