Future Nurses Program
Explore a Future in Healthcare! (Grades 9-12)
About the Program
This hands-on, one-week program introduces high school students to careers in healthcare. Participants will gain valuable insight from healthcare professionals, instructors, and guest speakers while participating in interactive learning activities.
Students will explore topics such as:
Patient Care Simulations
Career Exploration in Healthcare
Emergency Response
College preparation
Current Healthcare Topics
Hands-on Activities
Students entering 9th-12th grade at the time of application
Able to provide their own transportation
Must reside in Allen, Avoyelles, Catahoula, Grant, LaSalle, Natchitoches, Rapides, or Winn Parish
